A newsletter about what makes UX research work
Greetings!
I'm Veronica Erb, a human with a penchant for asking questions. For over a decade, I've been conducting studies, evolving my approach, and coaching people who do research, most recently at NPR. My work has informed both how people get the news and how the news gets made by people.
Over the years, I've longed for a "first book" to recommend to the people who I coach: a resource that doesn't focus on the mechanics of a particular UX research method, but instead takes a step back and talks about why we do what we do and what makes it work.
This newsletter is a first step toward that collection of knowledge. I aim to gather history, experiences, and innovations that can help anyone collect and understand the information they need to make decisions about user experiences.
I expect that what that means, exactly, will evolve over time. Let's find out!
Warmly,
Veronica
